One of my favorite releases of the year will finally hit the streets next week from UK duo, Summer Camp, with their EP "Always," via Moshi Moshi on July 9. The EP is a five track stunner that has lit my summer on fire and we have another sample off of "Always" with the R&B infused track, "City." This EP was what their initial LP should've been, but they've redeemed themselves quite nicely. Thanks to Guardian for the heads up!

80s synth-pop revivalists Summer Camp channel in their inner Bonnie & Clyde in the music video for their single "Always." The playful video follows the duo as they go on a brazen crime spree. Check it out: Click here to view the embedded video. Summer Camp's EP Always is out July 10th on Apricot/ Moshi Moshi .

dopo un gran singolo come Losing My Mind , uscito a Marzo, è in arrivo per Moshi Moshi a Luglio un nuovo EP dei Summer Camp - Always è il brano che gli dà il titolo:

After enjoying both critical and commercial success with Welcome to Condale , Summer Camp ( facebook / twitter ) are back with a new EP next month on Mosh Moshi. More will bring five spanking new tracks to our ears, but we've got a little taster today in Life , that starts with the glamour of Sankey's voice alongside simple piano chords before breaking into a perfect summer jam. Swoon. Summer Camp - Life was originally published on The Blue Walrus

Summer Camp have released a very dance floor ready song named “Always”. Both Jeremy and Elizabeth take turn on vocals, and make a declaration that no one will break them apart. As this is the 2nd jam we have heard the off the duo’s upcoming EP, Always, I am loving the more uptempo approach the band is taking. They are completely embracing their signature synth sound, and have raised their game considerably in 2012. Always will be out 7/10 through Apricot/Moshi Moshi.
Listen to the title track off Summer Camp 's upcoming EP, "Always" , out July 10 via Apricot Recording Company / Moshi Moshi . Last week we posted "Life" , our first listen at UK indie pop duo Summer Camp 's latest EP, "Always" . And now, to send us off into the weekend nicely, they've sharing the title track. "Life" was definitely more electronic-oriented than their past stuff, and "Always" continues that trend, though this one is [...]
Hace unos días vimos en el SC de Moshi Moshi que Summer Camp, tenía nuevo tema. Posiblemente, si hubiera que escoger un grupo pop del momento, el que está escribiendo [....]

It's Summer Camp season. Jeremy & Elizabeth came back to the future with their newest track 'Life' which may function as some sort of homage to MJ's 'Thriller.' I mean, can't you imagine throwing your shoulder to that drum clap? Hear that organ? Not to mention the zombified lyrics and Elizabeth all but channeling Vincent Price right around the 2:25 mark. Even if all that missed it's at least a little bit spooky, and definitely made to dance to; plus it's exciting because Summer Camp has got plans for another EP in the coming months and that's what [...]

Well that was fast. Summer Camp could've rested on their laurels from their last album, "Welcome to Condale," however, the duo have a treat for fans. The UK kids will be releasing a new EP titled, "Always," this summer. The two wrote the material this past Christmas and wasted no time. Check out the first track to leak from the EP, "Life," that plays like a simmering piano banger. Photo via Moshi Moshi. Sadly, the upcoming tour only includes UK dates. Boo. Listen to Summer Camp 's new track "Life" below, from the EP "Always" . Summer Camp are returning with a new EP this summer, their first release since last year's debut album "Welcome To Condale" . New track "Life" is more scathingly electronic than some of its predecessors, which marks a slight change in direction from their bright and sunny debut album, and can be found on "Always" , their new EP released via Moshi Moshi on July 9th/10th. [...]

Para alguno de nosotros no sería difícil decir que Summer Camp son la banda más fantástica de la historia. Lo mejor es que el fenómeno hype no se queda ahí, [....]

There’s a scene from the mid 90s TV show My So-Called Life (which followed the emotional turbulence of teenagers at Liberty High School) where two of the main characters share a moment in the school corridor in front of their peers. Rebel musician and generally troubled lad Jordan (Jared Leto – long hair, moody), gets together with self-evaluating sophomore Angela (Clare Danes – long hair, moody). There’s slow motion, eye contact, inner turmoil, and will he/won’t he tension stretched out over a heartfelt, cod-grunge 90s alt rock soundtrack (most likely Buffalo Tom). But for us, the scene was [...]
