Pay Attention... It's Sunday Throw Back!

DJ Premier somehow unearthed a ten minute version of Big L and Jay-Z's freestyle over Milk Bone's "Keep It Real (Freddie Gibb's "Ghetto"). The legendary session went down on Feb 23 '95 in Strech and Bobbito studios. This is probably one of the most treasured tapes in hip hop history featuring two of the greatest if not THE greatest MC's to hold a mic.

Buckwild produced this bass heavy joint back on '94 for Prince Po and Pharaohe Monch's Stress: Extinction Agenda album. With album features from Q-Tip, O.C. and Rockwilder the Queens NY, duo left a heavy mark on the entire hip hop world. in 1998 Extinction Agenda was selected as top 100 rap albums in Source Magazine. The day I got my hands on Kanye's I'm Good mixtape was a game changer for me. I remember I was hanging out with my homie Steve back in the day. Steve had all the Chicago underground hip hop on lock. I think it was like 2003 or around there. He asked if I had heard this new mixtape from Kanye West. To tell you the truth I had no clue who Kanye was at the time.
