The indie-folk heroes from Seattle are at it once again, this time performing in and around Paris, France for La Blogotheque 's Take Away Show. In this raw performance, Fleet Foxes show us just how versatile they really are. They perform two songs in this clip: "Sun Giant," which is off of Sun Giant EP , and "Blue Ridge Mountains," which is off of their self-titled debut album. Last week, indie folk band Fleet Foxes was featured on Late Night with Conan O'Brien . It marked the second occasion that the guys from Seattle appeared on network TV; they first appeared back on June on The Late Show with David Letterman . 2008 has been a huge year for Fleet Foxes; their second EP, Sun Giant , was released back in February and their self-titled debut album was released four months later. Fleet Foxes do something extraordinary in their "Take Away Show," the series of public-performance videos made possible by those wonderful dudes from La Blogotheque . While doing an a capella version of "Sun Giant", they literally make us here tear up. And that, my friends, is the definition of extraordinary. While I was out in Cali last week, I was fortunate enough to make it to Los Angeles for the second night of Fleet Foxes' sold out two-nighter at the El Rey Theatre.
