Today, I learned that there's on city on the west coast of Norway named Bergen. Apparently, Bergen is the top recommended city to visit if you're traveling in Norway. The place sounds delightful ( here ). Sorry that isn't music related. Just a fun geography fact. It also makes a great segue for introducing the band that's being featured. It seems Wavves' Nathan Williams has been busier than he lets on with his surfer/slacker/stoner persona. "Sail to the Sun" is a brighter jam than you'd usually expect from Wavves-gone is the heavy handed fuzzed out everything, and instead we've got, well, a really rad little pop-punk jam. Lok out for a new album off Mom+Pop this Spring.
