The Tallest Man on Earth's latest album, There's No Leaving Now , is honest, genuine and all-around a great bit of folk music. Join Chuck and Deuce as they take a look at the inner workings of the album, try to discern meaning from its lyrics, and discuss if The Tallest Man on Earth is really anything more than a "Swedish Bob Dylan." There's No Leaving Now is available NOW.

Photo by Meghan Brosnan Last night, Kristian Matsson (aka The Tallest Man on Earth ) appeared on the Swedish TV show På Spåret , as TwentyFourBit points out. Backed by a full band, Matsson performed two songs: the Swedish folk tune “En Fattig Trubadur" and a Swedish-language cover of Thin Lizzy's classic “Dancing in the Moonlight (It’s Caught Me in Its Spotlight)”. Thanks to the supporting musicians, Matsson's rendition of "Dancing" showed off a more lush, intricate sound, one that was as recklessly rocking as it was folksy and insightful. Tallest Man on Earth took time to record some of his new songs for WFUV. These pro shot videos are enduring takes on tracks from his new album, There's No Leaving Now. The standout has to be "On Every Page" where Kristian Matsson croons his reminiscence of youth. Matsson is a true lyricist and poet as Dylan is and his songs require repeated [...]

Today is the release of William Elliott Whitmore's "Field Songs" over on Anti Records . If you enjoy your music on the rootsy side, banjo side and the folk country side - then this album is a no brainer. The songs of Whitmore can be at times a tad too 'raucous crooner' but it is almost like he is taking a moment to breathe and the music is both [...]

The Tallest Man on Earth – Love is All (Live)
The Tallest Man on Earth showcased his genius on Later With Jools Holland a couple of weeks ago performing 'King of Spain' with that unmistakable dolorous charm and surely inspiring many a viewer to drop their cheesecake and gawp. I didn't realise, until today, that he had also performed 'Love is All' as a web exclusive earlier on and I must admit, the discovery was more satisfying than punching a fat person in the stomach. I posted a while back about how amazing Mattson is live so it's always good to be able to [...]
