Tame Impala released their sophomore album Lonerism last month. It's fantastic. From the moment I started playing it, I was instantly reminded of why the band's debut, InnerSpeaker was one of my favorite albums of the last decade. I've likened Tame Impala to a psychedelic version of The Black Keys and, if you like the Keys, Lonerism will not disappoint. I might even enjoy it more than the debut and, for me that says a lot. Tame Impala is one of my favorite new bands. I absolutely loved their debut album InnerSpeaker , one that I consistently played and enjoyed the entire way through (though I did love the first half a little more than the second...). Their sophomore album, Lonerism will be released in October this year. The single from the new album, "Elephant" was released yesterday along with this awesome remix by Todd Rundgren.
