Tame Impala's imminent sophomore record Lonerism drops in October,  here's its first single "Elephant". The new track's groove and crunchy tone will even appeal to that dude in the back of your office who's all 'rock is dead, man'. Nice piece of psychedelic rock. Love that bass. Following the mesmerizing psych of "Apocalypse Dreams", here's the first official single from Tame Impala 's  Lonerism . "Elephant" is all kinds of Pink Floyd and Sabbath with a pinch of Glam. Lonerism is due October 9 in the USA, and Modular Recordings is still  asking fans what they want included in the "Deluxe Version" of the vinyl LP. So you might want to hold off on pre-ordering.

On October 9th, Modular will be releasing the latest LP, Lonerism , from Tame Impala . We posted the first sample from the album with "Apocalypse Dreams" and now we get the official first single, "Elephant". A single of the track will be released in August that includes remixes of the track by Canyons and Todd Rundgren. Stream it below.

After teasing us with a video and album announcement last week , Tame Impala are back with a new single "Apocalypse Dreams." The psychedelic rockers do what they're best at and deliver spacey guitar lines, distorted, echoing vocals by Kevin Parker and an overall perfect track. Lonerism will be out in October via Modular Records .

Australian psych rockers Tame Impala have unleashed a trippy teaser video for their forthcoming sophomore album Lonerism,  the follow-up to their outstanding 2010 debut Innerspeaker .
