Tame Impala released Lonerism last year via Modular. Tame Impala (aka Kevin Parker kind of by himself) scored big time last year with Lonerism and 2013 will probably see them getting a lot more American exposure. So the video for "Mind Mischief" is a great re-introduction. The song itself is one of the album's more catchy/spacey and the music video, which was directed by Urban Outfitters and Modular, is steamy as fuck and kind of wrong. Some people might say this video is an ode to Van Halen's classic video for Panama, but I would say those people are stupid and go hang out with the people that are saying it's an ode to Van Halen's video for Hot For Teacher , because those people are at least paying attention to what is going on around them. But while we were discussing that, I would subtly mention how this video reminded me of how good last nights episode of Shameless was, and hope nobody got mad at me for changing the subject.
