With their second release, Tame Impala has lovely amount of Beatles -esque psychedelia. Is that John Lennon swimming about the swirling synths and fuzzy guitars? Obviously not, but it's tough not to see the similarity. Be sure to check out the band's new album, Lonerism . It was released last Tuesday. You'll like it if you are a psychedelic rock fan.

This song popped up a few days ago, but really it needed some time to digest for me as it's different. So experimental/rock artist Todd Rundgren added a dash of EDM to Tame Impala 's "Elephant." The song already had a pretty experimental and psychedelic vibe, but Rundgren flipped it on its head for sure.
