I've heard murmurs of mixed reviews concerning Tanlines ' new album Mixed Emotions , so that's all I really knew about the album. But after watching the music video for "All of Me" my opinion is anything but mixed, it's absolutely excellent. So much so that I'm going to go download their new album. This is the second video/single off of off Mixed Emotions the first being " Brothers " which I'm currently enjoying as I type this.

Admired and eulogised by many ever since the balearic rhythms of Real Life beached on the internet back in 2010, the debut full-length from Brooklyn bros (phraseologically; not genetically) Tanlines has been eagerly awaited in many a corner. Brooklyn duo Tanlines have flown under many music lovers' radar since their formation in 2009. Granted, the group has only produced a 6-song EP ( Settings , in 2010) and a healthy amount of remixes, but most of their previous works are quite accessible, featuring incredibly upbeat and boisterous beats and samples. Mixed Emotions will be released next week (March 20, via True Panther), and it's difficult for me to imagine the duo not getting a lot of attention moving forward. [...]

Brothers is the first song released off of Tanlines' upcoming album, Mixed Emotions , which will go on sale March 20th via True Panther. They described the song, which they released for free, as "a good idea of where we are at right now." Seems like a more developed and mature sound all around for the New York band.
