A picture-perfect setting can only get you through the weekend, but making it a memorable experience takes a lot more. The third edition of the Escape Festival was held at Naukuchiatal last weekend, between May 20 and 22. Escape is one of the few Indian "music festivals" that stays true to its claim - the experience for attendees isn't just about the music. Inclement weather meant that the seven-hour journey from New Delhi to Naukuchiatal took us 15 hours. The Global Groove festival/convention is an electronica affair set to be held in New Delhi this December. Organised by RSJ and the Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan the festival will see some top Indian electronica acts perform in the capital alongside a bunch of German artists.
