WHIRR sign to Tee Pee Records Bay Area post-shoegaze sextet WHIRR has signed with NYC rock label Tee Pee Record and are recording in the studio this August to lay down tracks for its full length debut and follow up to its recently released " Distressor " EP. The album will be preceded by a limited edition vinyl 7" that will be issued this fall.
Oakland, CA-based Whirr (formerly known as Whirl) has joined the Tee Pee Records roster. The band is a fuzzier, more shoegazed side project from Nick Bassett of Deafheaven , and they'll be recording a new LP in August with a release to come sometime thereafter. L.A.'s full blown rock 'n' roll outfit Night Horse is set to release its sophomore album Perdition Hymns August 3rd through Tee Pee Records.
