The lovely video from Tennis is a Lynch-ian, color soaked performance piece. I never know if I'm a full-on fan of Tennis, but this video is charming as hell, in a perfectly weird way. Bonus link: a live version of "My Better Self" shot at The Earth House Collective for the possibly defunct Laundro Matinee . The live version comes off less polished and the lack of reverb makes it sound a little less like Beach House.

Denver indie-pop outfit Tennis are no strangers to the late night TV scene, having performed on both Leno and Letterman since releasing their sophomore LP Young & Old this past February. Last night, they continued their late night circuit, performing their song "High Road" on Conan , which you can watch above. Kanye West's new video for " Lost In The World " is being positioned as a collaboration with a filmmaker rather than a "music video," and that's good, since it's a pretty shitty music video. If there's a sure bet in music videos, it's Mr. West, who tends to have a ton more vision and audacity than any other artist of his stature. And there are, to be fair, some striking images in the "Lost In The World" clip. But the video brings no ideas, precious little energy, and no basic sense of what a music video can and should [...]

Check out the new video from Tennis , for “My Better Self”. The odd visuals features a group of club goers are positively hypnotized by the sweet sounds coming from the South Carolina group. We also have Alaina Moore perfectly capture the lead in a 60’s girl group. I finally have developed a huge crush on her You can find this cut on the band’s amazing sophomore record, Young and Old , or as a 7” with fellow A Side, “Petition”.
