Devonshire-bred band, The Rumble Strips , primarily gained a named for themselves back in 2007 following the release of their debut album, 'Girls and Weather'. Filled with soulful pop tinted with hints of reggae and ska, the band sounded like something along the lines of a modern day twist on Dexys Midnight Runners. The Rumble Strips were formed by the failure of another band called Vincent Vincent & The Villains who in my opinion lacked one of the few "V" words they left out of their name - Variety. Rumbles lead singer Charlie Waller abandoned the group to rejoin with old school friends and having followed the band for a while this seems to have been a great move to make.
