Tibet House 's 22nd annual benefit concert will take place at New York City's famed Carnegie Hall on February 13th. As in year's past, Philip Glass serves as the concert's artistic director and curator. This year, he'll be joined by James Blake, Laurie Anderson, Dechen Shak-Dagsay, Rahzel, and others. Tickets are now available by calling Carnegie Charge (212-247-7800) or in person at the Carnegie Hall Box Office. Benefit packages are also available through Tibet House. Proceeds will go to preserving and promoting the culture of Tibet.

Over the last 20 years, composer and co-founder of Tibet House Philip Glass has gathered musicians at Carnegie Hall in support of Tibet House and the preservation of that region's culture. Last year's impressive lineup included Iggy Pop, Gogol Bordello, Regina Spektor, and many others. For 20 years the Tibet House US Benefit Concert has commemorated the Monlam Prayer Festival traditionally held at the time of the Tibetan New Year. Regina Spektor and Gogol Bordello have been added to a lineup that already includes such notable performers as Philip Glass (the concert's artistic director), Patti Smith , Jesse Smith , Michael Campbell , Baaba Maal , and Pierce Turner .
