Frequent collaborators Jus Jack and Oza have taken a break from their acid-tinged tracks for something a little sweeter. The duo took the vocal stems and piano intro from Blessid Union of Souls' 1995 melancholy hit "I Believe" and spun it into an uplifting progressive house ballad with a sweeping melody. The track marks the duo's debut on Tiesto's Musical Freedom Records, and the label head himself gave the tune a mix, putting his own stadium spin on the sound. A big room collision of nineties meets nu teens, both tracks will be available [...]
The genre-defiant anthem from Showtek and Noisecontrollers has gone from one of the most heavily circulated tracks in recent memory to a solidified top track of 2013. " Get Loose " comes fresh with a remix from Tiësto , who ditches the status quo and toys with the bpm-shifting nature of the production. His rendition was one of the most played records at Ultra this year, months before the release date, and the hype has finally come to fruition. Purchase: Beatport You just finished reading [...]

AND WE'RE BACKKKKKK! After a brief hiatus, we're back on the grind and hope to make the Friday Remixes better for y'all. Today is opening day for my beloved underachieving Rockies. See you at the ballgame. Capital Cities - Safe and Sound (Vice Remix) Started From The Bottom (G-Mix) D.L.O. x Drake x Wiz Khalifa Zedd & Tiesto vs. Cryogenix & Daddy's Grove - Clarity Like This (N3AKO Bootleg) Can't Sleep In The Chaos (ft. After declaring Dada Land a soverign nation with international fan-led rallies, Dada Life is offering another remix from The Rules of Dada . Following Dillon Francis and his chart-topping rendition, Tiësto follows with his take of "So Young So High," taking the track from fun-loving to big room-shaking. Opting for a percussive oomph, Tijs steers away from his recent melodic trend that has been heard on many of his recent remixes. Purchase: Beatport You just finished reading Dada Life – [...]
"Chasing Summers" has served as one of Tiësto 's opening tracks since being released on Club Life Vol. 2 last year, now Quintino and R3hab have a similar weapon for their crowds. The spooky build and chord progression from the original gets jacked up, packing an extra punch of electro and a quickened bass line. The in-house, Dutch family remix has been released via Musical Freedom the same day as another Tiësto-Quintino pairing, the Ultra anthem, "United." Purchase: Beatport You just finished [...]
Despite being released almost a year ago, Tiësto and Swanky Tunes' "Make Some Noise" is a tune worth revisiting. For whatever reason, the original failed to make the serious impact its producers' credentials warrant. Luckily, Dyro has revived both Ben McInerney’s alluring vocal track and the original's endearing melody. Lending his big room electro abilities to the anthem, Dyro supplements the catchy lyrics with a riveting, illustrious build up and a thunderous electro drop. Dyro's remix is out today on Musical Freedom alongside a remix from Skidka. Purchase: Beatport You [...]
As what already promises to be a huge year for trance continues, this week lips from the genre's past puckered up again. Released on Magik Muzik is a three-track remix EP of Allure's 2011 "No Goodbyes," a release that revived the Allure project and revealed that Tiësto had passed the live torch. Now revisited by Britain's revered Lange and Germany's Tom Cloud, the track has been reimagined and revitalized, from it's more progressive extended mix to Lange's darker, more urgent take to Tom Cloud's bouncing melody-driven intepretation. Though there's no word yet on what Allure is [...]
Tiësto's "Chasing Summers" debuted back in March and went on to be arguably his biggest track of the year. The airy ascending build up and barking acid-tinged drop proved to be an exemplary opener for Tijs. Many months later, the first official preview for R3hab and Quintino 's remix has been released. Working off a similar formula to tracks like "Atom" and Jewelz and Scott Sparks' "Flashbang," R3hab and Quintino's rendition presents a trembling, simplified drop with focused percussion work. While it may not have the same bite as the original, the influence remains clear in the minimalism of the [...]
After a wildly successful remix contest and remix EP for Zedd's "Spectrum," it seemed only natural that Clarity 's eponymous single should receive the same treatment. While the remixes started back in November with Aylen's lovestep rework , it was only last week that Zedd unveiled the sumptuous roster of producers for the official "Clarity" remix package. With renditions from Tiësto , Style of Eye , Brillz, and an orchestral edit from Zedd himself, the "Clarity" remix package is just as daunting as its counterpart's previous package. Curious to see whose stole the spotlight? Click past the break [...]
The train of official "Clarity" remixes began two days ago with the unveiling of Tiësto's "Clarity" remix to a lukewarm response. It continued yesterday with a trap remix from Brillz, a menacing house spin from Torro Torro, and a progressive/electro house remix from Felix Cartal. And now, it's reached its potentially most awesome point yet: a heavy progressive house rendition from the masterful hands of Funkagenda. The first minute consists of a budding, anxious energy, but when that dark, pulsating beat drops, you'll understand why Funkagenda is one of the most well-respected house producers in the [...]
Call it poor timing, but for whatever reason, Tiesto and Swanky Tunes' "Make Some Noise" failed to make a lasting impression. Not to say it was a poor track, in fact the combination of Ben McInerney's voice and Tiesto and Swanky Tunes' driving bassline was quite engaging. Many months later, however, Musical Freedom has announced a forthcoming Dyro remix to "Make Some Noise," to be released on February 26th alongside a remix from Skidka. In typical Dyro fashion, the remix employs a tremendous, enticing build up and a exhilarating electro house drop. While Dyro's style has become a bit stale in [...]
The trance legend gives Zedd and Foxes' breathtaking single 'Clarity' a bit of a touch up, without taking away the original appeal. The remix adds a new layer of building synths and drums that will make any dance floor shake. Prepare yourself for this electro charged bomb!

At the turn of the year, there's always a few things we get excited for. There's always the excitement of new Music Ninja programs we're launching, plans of grandeur for the upcoming year, new album releases, and of course, music festivals. We're just out of the gate for 2013, and we have to say, we're really stoked for what lies ahead. First up on our list of festivals is the largest electronica festival in North America. The setting is perfect, as Miami is already a hub for the scene. But when you take the party outside, onto Bayfront [...]
The ever evolving Tiesto puts a spin on Passion Pit' s new single 'Carried Away, ' giving it bigger beats and super danceable drops. A catchy and fun new release, Tiesto eases off on the bass to bring something fresh to the table that everyone can jam to. Aside from the tracks audio, I'd highly recommend checking out the song's official video . Showcasing the story of a few friends going crazy after eating a brightly colored magic powder, the video shot for 'Carried Away' definitely ads to the track's energetic, yet fun [...]

You already know how this Tiesto remix of Passion Pit ’s “Carried Away” will sound like so let’s focus on the amazing music video. Basically, you inhale this pixie-stix style sugar/drug, and you explode into several clones of yourselves. Besides using it to amuse yourselves, you can give it to fish, and sushi will appear, or put i on eggs and little baby chicklets will appear. Whatever is going on makes for a highly entertaining video, that really begs the question of where I can score some of this stuff.
Tiësto came out of left field and released an official remix to Passion Pit's "Carried Away" today - and it's large. Yeah definitely large. The official video is below, and features a crew of curious mid-twenty year-olds experimenting with some next-level drug that clones you like 7 times. Looks pretty ... Read More

I'm having some 2010 summer nostalgia so I figured it's a perfect day for a little flashback. Not to say that all these tracks were released in 2010, they were just some of my favorite tracks to listen to back then. Listen in no particular order and enjoy your day. Cheers!
