Editor's note: In January, SF's Grandma’s Boyfriend toured Japan for the second time, playing six shows in Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto and Osaka. This is our second day at Uprising Reggae Festival and we are happy to be here as fans instead of performers! MoCity’s friend from Podersdorf had been kind enough to drop us to Bratislava as it was only a 45-minute car ride for her. Driving around trying to find our hotel for Uprising Festival, it was apparent that we had entered the old Soviet bloc. The first thing that hit us about Vienna, as we walked to our hotel from the Metro stop, was the architecture. All the buildings looked so grand, you could tell instantly that this had once been a place of great importance and standing. The capital of the Austro-Hungarian Hapsburg Empire, the city has a legacy of having been home to some of Europe’s most famous writers, scientists, composers and architects. So when we last left you , we were sipping on some Captain Morgan rum, pre-gaming for our second night out in Oslo.
