The long awaited Bitch Magnet box set from Temporary Residence Ltd. is now available to preorder from the label. Due out December 6th, the set contains all three albums from this seminal indie band, "Star Booty" (1988), "Umber" (1989), and "Ben Hur" (1990), all fully remastered from the original analog masters and repackaged for this release. Sabato scorso, dal Porto Antico di Genova, si è consumata l'edizione 2010 dei Trl Awards . Molti gli ospiti e i performers saliti sul palco; scontati i vincitori. Tra questi ultimi ricordiamo l'MTV Man of the Year Marco Mengoni che ha battuto l'altro favorito Valerio Scanu , l' MTV First Lady assegnato meritatamente a Malika Ayane e l'evergreen band dei Muse che si aggiudica il Best Band. Avevamo già parlato dell'evento televisivo Trl Award 2010 , in programma a Genova il prossimo 8 maggio, che sarà trasmesso in diretta su Mtv. Ora finalmente veniamo a conoscenza delle categorie e le nomination che con la votazione via web degli utenti decreteranno i protagonisti musicali e i video più interessanti dell'ultimo anno di Mtv. Dal 7 aprile su Mtv sarà possibile votare le varie categorie e durante lo show verranno consegnati ai vincitori gli ambiti premi tra esibizioni live, gag, vip in veste di presentatori, e grandi sorprese come è da tradizione fare [...]

Anche quest'anno si svolgeranno i " Trl Awards ", manifestazione organizzata da Mtv che premierà gli artisti più in voga del momento, quelli più amati dal pubblico giovane. Per il 2010 è stata scelta come location della serata Genova e la data è stata fissata per l'8 maggio. Per il momento ancora non si conoscono le categorie ufficiali dalle quali poi verranno estratti i diversi vincitori. Queste verranno svelate durante le prossime settimane. Ma nel frattempo sarà mandato in onda dalle 15.00 alle 16.00 il programma "MY TRL Video", fascia pomeridiana nella quale [...]

I Broken Heart College potevano mai risparmiarci l'ennesimo video pop tutto bolle di sapone caratterizzato dai soliti stereotipi teen americani inerenti al fast food e di quanto c'è di relativo? Giammai. Ed ecco quindi che viene presentata con la clip di "Mesi", canzone portata a Sanremo 2010 , l'ennesima trovata acchiappa "ormonose" che farà felice quelli di Trl. Il pezzo sembra non aver conquistato le simpatie del popolo italiano il quale, almeno per il momento, sta preferendo altro musicalmente parlando. Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News While MTV may have recently removed the word "music" from its logo, New Orleans' Galactic is resurrecting that network's abandoned "Total Request Live" ("TRL") show, albeit in their own funky way. Galactic's TRL stands for "Throwdown Request Live" and the band launched the series recently with jam rockers Tea Leaf Green in New York and Philadelphia. Decisamente diverso che con i Tokyo Hotel.

Molti di voi si staranno chiedendo "Chi gliel'ha fatto fare a Trl di prendere come sigla un sample della canzone dei Broken Heart College ?": ovviamente, se ciò è quello che pensate, non vedrete sicuramente di buon occhio questo nuovo gruppo made in Italy formato da Nick (chitarra e voce) e Michy (voce), ragazzi destinati a far esplodere un nuovo fenomeno per teenagers. La loro canzone "Na na na", lanciata dallo storico programma di Mtv, è già un tormentone tanto da indurre moltissime persone a sintonizzarsi sui loro canali Myspace e Facebook . [...]

Si, lo vedete in foto: Marco Carta è stato " IL protagonista" della cerimonia dei Trl Awards 2009 (ha ricevuto ben due riconoscimenti), serata, svoltasi lo scorso sabato, in cui sono stati premiati tutti gli artisti più amati dai teenagers. Il cantante sardo inoltre è stato acclamato dalla folla non solo per i due premi vinti (Man Of The Year, Best #1 Of The Year) ma anche per l'esibizione on stage nella quale ha performato il nuovo singolo "Dentro Ad Ogni Brivido" (rigorosamente in playback). In America l'hanno chiuso mentre da noi riesce ad andare ancora molto bene arrivando ad avere addirittura degli awards propri: stiamo parlando di Trl , il programma musicale più amato dai teenagers. La nuova kermesse dei "Trl Awards" si terrà il 16 maggio a Trieste e premierà gli artisti italiani e internazionali più in voga del 2009. Avevamo già parlato del tentativo dei Sonohra di sfondare in territorio sudamericano. A quanto pare ci stanno riuscendo bene visto che il loro nuovo singolo "Besos Faciles" sta riscuotendo molto successo nelle radio locali. La canzone non sarebbe altro che la versione spagnola di " Love Show " e rappresenta il singolo apripista del nuovo "Libres", il primo cd in lingua straniera che sarà disponibile a fine marzo in Messico, Argentina, Cile, Brasile, Colombia e U.S. Latin. You've all probably been forced to bite your tongue while someone makes a joke about how MTV doesn't play videos anymore. But if the channel should change the first letter of its acronym to anything, it's probably "T," for teenagers. Beyonce opened up the show by singing 'Single Ladies' and 'Crazy in Love'. Carson Daly and Damien Fahey took to the stage to host a bit before a clip of Miley Cyrus was shown. Then Diddy took to the stage to talk about TRL. Ben Stiller and Christina Aguilera also had clips for TRL before they went to Fall Out Boy performing on a huge stage out in Times Square.
