Here I thought we were in a tropical pop drought and Pacific Air comes along a releases this refreshing remix of Magic Man's " Paris ". We've featured the Providence band's original version here on The Record Stache when it first release. It's a highly recommended piece of rocking piano pop. However, the Pacific Air remix is a standout on its own. With it's fair share of steel percussion and plenty of beachy ambiance, this is the perfect track to kick off the summer. - Matt
Say hello to Drew Carmody, a 19-year-old promising producer and DJ from Sydney, who has been crafting tunes under the moniker L D R U . Having already received support from fellow Sydney beatsmith Flume, he's now ready to drop his wicked new single "The Tropics", filled with some serious Caribbean vibes, on one of our favorite labels, Future Classic. Trapical? You bet! Give L D R U's "The Tropics" a spin above and head over to his Soundcloud page to hear a few more tracks. [...]
Guess what everybody? It's Friday. And for any Friday to turn out right it takes just the right jam at the pivotal moment. You all know that moment I'm talking about. The initial adrenaline rush from the week ending is wearing off and fatigue is setting in. The 4 beers you've had aren't really helping. The Tom Petty you've been playing is starting to make you drowsy and Mario Kart isn't losing it's edge. Something needs to change. Something needs to propel the night forward and make Friday night worth daydreaming about all week. Of course, if you're [...]
Earlier this week Belanger released a new track called Take Me Home that we just can't get off repeat. We've had an eye on the New York-based producer for awhile now, having been impressed by his polished blend of styles, and this new single displays that in full. Take Me Home successfully combines house, nu-disco, and electro vibes making for something truly unique and prepped for summertime. We're treated to a tantalizing build-up, tropical drums, and a thumping backbeat that ties it all together quite nicely. Start your Friday off right with this huge new track, and be sure [...]

I meant to post this last week, but I'm pretty forgetful at times. NSFW is starting up a new series of mixes titled the Traveler Series. I'm assuming each release, and its sounds, will be inspired by a different city and location. The first to kick things off is Miami. NSFW puts together an energetic mix that features every stereotype of Miami-infused dance music that I can think of, and it is amazing! Throughout the span of 57 minutes you'll be exposed to driving synths, post disco, timeless house grooves, and a good bit of some late night, [...]
Summer is coming! And we're glad it is, because this one makes so much more sense when you're out on the beach or by the poolside. Pále , the young producer from Manchester, Uk, is one of our gems, and has been making his own way with masterful songs like "Orchidea" |featured here| , but today we bring you a remix he did for Naughty Boy . "La la la" featuring the voice of Sam Smith, the voice behind the hit "Latch" from Disclosure, is transformed here, as you can check on the video after the jump. [...]

Just as the weather is getting warmer here in the UK, hopefully for good (you can never really tell when summer’s going to start here), Goldroom drops a brand new reMix to soundtrack our forthcoming holiday weekend. Turning his not inconsiderable talents, this time, to Australian singer/songwriter Owl Eyes and a track off her recent début EP, Faces , to be featured on a forthcoming reMix release. Around the one minute mark, in this reMix, Josh drops an immensely funky little Acid riff that hangs around throughout the tune. Burbling 303s may seem [...]
With the weather warming up and summer just around the corner, could you think of a better way to get ready for such a great time than with a band named Is Tropical ? Yeah sure you can work out, eat healthy and save a bunch of money so you can actually go some place tropical and live it up all summer, but who has the time to do all that. It would be way more fun to just sit back, put on some headphones and kick back to this new album entitled I'm Leaving [...]

I feel like my ears were destined to hear KLP 's music this week. My boys in LBCK are currently in the studio working on their debut album and, as I am the one managing the label backing them, they asked me to look into an artist I had not yet heard of named KLP. Literally a day later I was hit with a bunch of things from this indie dance signer, including some cuts off her recent Revolution Remixed project which you can find below. Cool how that worked out.
Our favorite Austrian Dizzy Womack returns to Top Billin with a brand new release. Dizzy Womack is the matured moniker of his formerly known name DJ Dizzy, with which he already gained support from luminaries such as Diplo or Drop The Lime with his backward bass-heavy 4/4 productions. His current metamorphose to a more house-oriented productions don't come as a a shock for anyone who knows what this guy is all about - he's always had a particular slant playing with different genres, ranging from idm to tropical vibes, house, bass music and beyond. As Dizzy Womack it seems like [...]
Great news golden people! L.A.-based duo Cosmic Kids just shared a brand new remix of Little Boots' "Broken Record." If you're familiarized with the original, you're going to be positively surprised with this excellent interpretation. The duo basically rewashed the whole piece, applying their natural golden touch. It's impossible to stay indifferent to this work, specially because of its brightness and positive atmosphere. Despite keeping the feeling from the original, this remix takes off the pop side stamp, reversing it into some sort of alternative version bringing all the best elements from the original together with an addictive [...]
