TURISAS - Stand Up And Fight lyrics The pouring rain, Sticks my hair to my face, An empty gaze is all I have left, The stars that once lit my way have dimmed, The sky turned grey, The path once so clear Faded away, Blessed are the days when life is intent and clear, No falter or doubt, I know the way, They are the days, I hoped, I have never stepped from this road, The spark I once had, Seems to [...]
Battle metallers Turisas have officially started recording their upcoming fourth studio album. The band is currently recording drums at Atomic Spa studio in Helsinki, Finland, and they will continue the recordings in different locations until the end of January. This follow-up to 2011's Stand Up And Fight is scheduled for a worldwide release in May 2013 via Century Media Records.
Turisas are coming back to the states, and they're bringing Firewind and Stolen Babies with them. Stolen Babies seems like a weird choice for this tour, but I guess they'll be playing for a new audience. Having seen Tursisas on multiple occasions, I can tell you, they are the perfect band to see after downing ... Evil Bells aka Slay Bells by guitarstevecc asdff Tool have announced the opening acts for their string of winter 2012 dates... and it's wonky stoner-prog outfit Intronaut (as rumored) on the first half of the tour and doom metal titans Yob on the second half! It'd be easy enough for Tool to take out a [...]

It's been a bit of a slow news day, but thankfully Damnation Festival have come to rescue by announcing the final seven bands of their 2011 line-up, chief among them being Grand Magus. Joining the Swedish metal outift in he final brace of bands to be added to the bill are Cerebral Bore, Conan, A Forest Of Stars, Humanfly, Talons, [...]

Well, well, well - for once, the most interesting band announced in a festival line-up announcement isn't the biggest or best-known name. Damnation Festival have announced that leading Brit-thrashers Evile, Finnish battle metallers Turisas, djentish-types Xerath, and the curiously titled A Man Called Catten will all be performing at this year's Damnation Festival in Leeds. [...]

Reading the Sunday paper today, I commented to Missus Nomad that I would pay a premium to get a newspaper that only printed good news. She took the opposite view, that people read the paper because they WANT the bad news. I barely read the front of the paper anymore. I don't want to know about this or this or (especially) this . I stick with the Sports. Although, THIS is effing awesome! Hey check out these guys ! A combo of Visigoth fashion, [...]
