There was a time, we suppose, before the term "laptop folk" existed, back when artists strummed guitars or pounded the ivories with just the basic instrument and a microphone at play. I just recently stumbled upon this gem from James Yuill and had to instantly grab his CD Turning Down Water For Air , which is a poppy, beat filled, electro-acoustic, record that will put the shuffle in your shoes.
