Os TV on the Radio foram os curadores do último festival da All Tomorrow’s Parties  no passado fim de semana. Como parte integrante do cartaz, a banda de Brooklyn apresentou novo material ao vivo durante o seu concerto.

DOOM has done some indefensibly dastardly things in his time – relative felonies within the context of performance and the etiquette thereof. No-shows, no-go's, and plenty of  no bloody point in going's  though somehow the perma-masked hip hop crusader continues to hold us rapt in the palm of his oversized hands. And as he here returns with Mike Volpe, aka  Clammy Clams , aka  Clams Casino on production duties he appears not only to have done just that, but also to have found a rather more apt accomplice than Jneiro Jarel proved to be as the intriguingly entitled Bookfiend effortlessly [...]

For a band to have wreaked such consistent havoc across 2012, MC Ride and his Death Grips cronies have been disquietingly quiet thus far this year though it would appear they've merely been biding their time, the vitriol swilled in their gizzards intensifying all the while and they're now ready to erupt. There was a grim irony to the demise of The Stool Pigeon earlier on in the year, such was the hyperbolic doom mongering assumed to speak of the then lingering uncertainties over the future of  All Tomorrow's Parties  – a once in a lifetime kinda festival held in dilapidated holiday camps across Southern England, if you've not yet been. That is to say that mercifully, though the 'Pigeon may have croaked it, organisers Barry Hogan and Deborah Kee Higgins live on to call upon variegated curators once more, thus making ATP so much more than an in every respect one-time [...]

The first time I can lucidly recall seeing Nic Offer flailing his limbs about in the air like he just didn't give two shits was at Benicássim all of six years ago. Adorned in nothing more than a tee made translucent with copious perspiration and skimpy cycling shorts, a testicle dangled from one loosely elasticated leg. He was a sweaty, glorious, filthy, gorgeous mess of a man – his greased hair a sozzled knot of under-the-sofa spaghetti. Brooklyn coldwave pairing Telepathe have been absent for internet aeons too long. '09 début Dance Mother may be a distant reality, although its legacy has proven quite lasting and it's still stuck on more or less monthly round these parts. New Party Systems is a new supergroup, featuring TV On The Radio's Kyp Malone and two current and former members of Liturgy, and their track "We Are" is an honorable attempt at creating an anthem for the Occupy Wall Street movement. The group doesn't show up in the video. Instead, starry-eyed Occupy sympathizers from around the world lip-sync the lyrics and generally show off the sort of fresh-faced idealistic glow that you only ever see at protests. Watch it below. Dave Sitek (of TV on the Radio fame) is no stranger to remixes. He's reworked songs by everyone from Lykke Li to 502s blues great Dinah Washington . His newest effort is a beat-addled, club-worthy stomper - a remix of Florence + The Machine's "No Light, No Light", off her October album Ceremonials .  Sitek replaces the soaring boys choir backup vocals of the original with fidgeting 808 kick, and throws in some of his signature clatter and buzz.
