I was expecting a solid video of Twin Shadow’ s “5 Seconds”, but I was not expecting to see one of the best videos of 2012. George Lewis Jr. participates in an all out biker gang war, which pits Lewis and his sole partner against an army of wild banshees. As the song would have been perfect in any dramatic 80’s film clip, this current video plays more out like a big budget short film rather than a mere music video. Twin Shadow is back with another album. After just one listen, it's apparent that he's greatly improved on a trademark sound that was already amazing.

[ Twin Shadow ] George Lewis Jr. has revealed that his self-produced sophomore album, Confessions ( 4AD ), will see a release at the beginning of July. In a press release, Lewis mentioned that the forthcoming record was enlivened by the motorcycle rides he took on the black roads of Los Angeles. He took a rather long break from the bike following a nasty accident a few years back. Complete with nostalgic synth lines, the lead single distinctly sounds like it was born in the eighties.
