Twin Shadow to premiere new video in Times Square

‘Five Seconds,’ the first single from Twin Shadow 's July 10th (July 9th in the UK) release Confess , will be given its video debut treatment in the center of New York City’s Times Square, plastered all over the massive LED screens. The promotion comes from art organization Artist Wanted and their Art Takes Time Square program. As well as the debut, Twin Shadow will be performing right in the middle of busy section at 8 p.m., July 18th. You can listen to and/or download ‘Five Seconds’ below.

For this cover, Twin Shadow go way back to 1977 to strip down a Peter Gabriel track that first appeared on his self-titled debut. Taking the classic track George Lewis Jr. makes the unusual cover his own and evidently is enjoying playing the track from the footage in the video.
