Apparently Tyler, the Creator really wasn't kidding when he said he'd be the director of multiple Mountain Dew ads.  Watch as the Odd Future honcho gets his Spielberg on yet again, and reminds audiences to refrain from drinking and driving. I like everything about this. The old man goofball glee that Letterman gets from saying "Earl Sweatshirt." The Temptations back-up dancing provided by Tyler and Earl during Domo's verse. Tyler's air guitar solo. The St. Louis Cardinal's Starter jacket. Earl's return to become everything rap fans had hoped. Tyler's purposefully corny tucked in shirt and mockery of molly-popping kids in leather. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's also funny how the would-be rap enfant tumblirible has tempered the message to tell kids to go play outside and enjoy the weather. This is the era [...]

And so here we are: it's 2013, and we've another potentially incendiary album from the enfant terrible of rap. Gone is the beef with Tegan and Sara and the furore surrounding his exclusively misogynistic lyrics has died down somewhat, allowing us to focus on Tyler, The Creator's purported purpose – the music itself. Opening with the fanfare of Wolf, our 'Creator lures us into a false sense of security as Marvin Gaye-like vocals and soulful piano greet us. For a moment you'd be forgiven for thinking, 'Ooh! Jonah Bromwich is anti-OF-thinkpiece I followed the original conversation about Odd Future from a distance.  I was too young to shake my head with the herd of conservative progressives and too old to get swept up in the rabidity of their newfound cult.  I wish I could make like an anti-war pundit ten years later and obliquely reference my spotting of Earl amongst the weeds. Wolf is the upcoming third studio album by  Odd Future leader Tyler, The Creator . The album is scheduled to be released on April 2, 2013, by Odd Future Records and RED Distribution under Sony Music Entertainment. Wolf is a set in a different direction compared to his first two albums. Bastard and Goblin� �respectively featured more violent content, while this album will feature a more production based sound and different themes. The album will feature guest appearances by Frank Ocean, Mike G, Domo Genesis, Left Brain, Hodgy Beats,Pharrell, Casey Veggies and Erykah Badu. The album is produced solely by Tyler, The Creator.
