This installment, you can see an 802s Volvo being put to the test, thanks to Drunk Mums (Nice job lads). Following along with the 802s theme Velciraptor released their clip to 'Cynthia' which rivals some of the most old school clips that Rage would play at around 2am in the morning. Also in the mix is a banging clip from The Ruminater, the last 30 seconds or so is vision of their parents rocking out, surprisingly they seem rather unembarrassed. Nikko is the last clip in this bundle, slowing down the pace [...]

Seth Graves is an old friend of mine and has been working in film for a while now. He has dropped two shorts in the last six months and both are very solid. The first is Rock N Roll Will Never Die, which is the begining to a feature that Seth is working on about a guys day after a year of sobriety and dealing with the zombie apocalypse. The second is Joe, Dean, and Charlene, which was done for the 48 hour film project. The impressive thing about both of these shorts is that he takes basically no [...]
This is from a couple years back, but I was reminded of it this weekend, courtesy of Nate. So I thought to myself: considering the cold temperatures and long nights, what better time than now to again unleash this frigid weapon of sonic annihilation? Behold, the Valnøtt!!! Now go to Hydra Head and get you some Austerity Program .
I found this video online of the Beastie Boys doing their punk thing on The Scott & Gary show around 1984. The video is pretty much a horrible bunch of songs that will sound like their punk EP's they will put out later down the road. At least those where some what enjoyable. It's kind of interesting to see them starting the persona that would later be the theme for License To Ill. If you notice the drummer is Kate Schellenbach ( Lucious Jackson ). Check out the video here:

I will say that this is the greatest Christmas song, next to Murder City Devils 364 Days, and who would of thought that it would of came from Ministry's Al Jourgensen. The video below shows the introduction to the song by Al himself, known during Christmas as Buck Santa, where he has been urged by his wife to create a Christmas song. This is what you get. Some industrial gold Christmas awesomeness. Thanks Al for bringing light to my holiday. MP2: M urder City Devils - 364 Days
Thanks to Sarah for putting up this link. This video made me laugh out loud. You may not find this as funny as I did, but the way they put it in slow mo at the end is epic. I mean that might be the dirtiest part of Back To The Future.* *= This was a stupid remark, I mean the incest between Marty and his mother and George's boss trying to date rape his wife? That makes this movie seem lighter than Irreversible but damn those are some harsh tones for [...]
Clayton Brown was/is/has 1) Allen Epley's old college roommate, 2) the very first drummer in Shiner, 3) currently a film professor at Northwestern, 4) made all things video for TL&T. Add to his resume this gem for the track Old Souls from Tragic Boogie . The actor in the film/video is musician Jim Becker, who carries residences in Caliphone and Red Red Meat among others. The girl in the video is played by Kate Tummelson, about whom I don't have much info, other than she's beautiful. Keep in mind, the effects in this vid were created solely organically, old [...]
For some of you that might not know David Lynch (Elephant Man, Wild At Heart) was offered by George Lucas to direct Return Of The Jedi and turned it down. We finally get a explanation from Lynch on why this never happened. Pretty Humorous.
If you've been living under a rock, you might not have known Jawbox performed on Jimmy Fallon last night for the first time in forever. Missed it? Your DVR died in a fit of disbelief? Fear not, you can watch J Robbins & Co. make kittens weep with 'Savory' below. Also included are two performances not seen last night, 'FF=66' and the Savory b-side '68'...Enjoy.

Since the year is almost over I'm going to go ahead and proclaim "The Final Breaths of a Main Character" by The Woods as the best video of 2009. The video for the Florida based band was directed by Raul B Fernandez who also shot the video for Kate Micucci's "Walking In Los Angeles"(also featured below). Fernandez has marked himself as one to watch with his creative style and unique vision. The Final Breaths Of The Main Character is featured on The Woods self titled debut album which tells the story of a boy [...]
We reported earlier about the soon to be released second album from former Testicles Dev Hynes under the Lightspeed Champion moniker. The album is set to release on Jan 25 and is titled Life is Sweet Nice! Nice to Meet You! . Wow Jan. 25th is shaping to be an awesome day with the this and the Shining release. So here is the first single and video for Marlene from the upcoming record.

Katatonia 's new record Night is the New Day is growing more and more critical praise every day. We at Rocksellout have been among those to give the new record an amazing review . So what better way to show our appreciation for the band and the record then by posting their latest single and video for Day then the New Shade. Katatonia- Day & Then The Shade (from Night Is The New Day) from Peaceville Records on Vimeo .

Tru Thoughts Records out of the UK has been around for almost 10 years now and many people are probably reading that name for the first time. I'll be honest and admit that before I got back into writing for the site I didn't either. With that being said I highly urge everybody to check out what this label is putting out. One of their most recent releases is from a band called Stonephace . I'm really trying to catogorize this band in some genre, I'm reaching more in the Jazz Genre, but I'll just make up my [...]

"Have you ever wanted to see Wayne Coyne naked?", that is not a question I ever want to ask again and feels weird typing it. But that is exactly what you will get with the new Flaming Lips video for "Watching The Planets". We wrote about the making of this video a month ago, when the Lips asked for people to ride bikes naked for the video. While the weirdness of the video is in tact, I have to say this is definately one of the best of the year. Well executed and the cinematography is [...]
A Horse Called Golgotha Baroness - 'Blue Record' Out Now!!! | MySpace Video Baroness has released the video for "A Horse Called Golgotha" today and this video completely fits the music, it is nothing but brutal. Directed by Joshua Green for the song off of the Blue Album . I love the old hardcore look of the 90's music videos that it has going on. If you haven't picked up this album yet, definitely do so or check them out on tour: [...]

Sleep - Orchestra of Strangers from Strange Famous on Vimeo . The first video from Sleep's new album "Hesitation Wounds". Orchestra of Strangers is directed by Trinity Webber . Definitely a dope track off the album. Strange Famous is also re releasing Sleep's sophomore album, Christopher with 2 bonus tracks, "Bring It To Life" and "Sticks & Stones", both produced by Zavala. Looks like just a CD version and a Digital download. [...]
Oriana Lee is a friend of mine that has been one the most admirable and talented individuals I have ever come across with. She has been doing some amazing spoken word and writing over the years. Oriana recently put out this video for "RANA" with her equally talented husband Count Bass D . If you haven't checked out her work, you can check it out on her site Writehanded . Definitely a couple to be on the watch for. Never a mediocre moment and nothing but amazing art from the both of them.
