Alex Metric had a very successful 2011 with the release of his remixes album and to celebrate the New Year Metter's is giving away his 2007-esque electro track 'Raveaggeddon' via his Facebook page. 2012 should see the prolific remixer finally release his first debut album which has already been canned once because he wasn't happy with it. North Carolinians Saman Khoujinian and Gabriel Anderson are the brains behind VIRGINS , one of the most interesting new bands for quite some time. Their debut record 'RGB' (released November 29) was recorded on a bicycle tour of the US that started earlier this year. Opening track 'Red Green Blue' is a meandering psych-folk track that recalls hazy summer days, whereas the anthemic 'Dolphin' is a much more poppy piece with choral BVs to add to its infectiousness. The duo, which consists of Saman Khoujinian and Gabriel Anderson, embarked on a "bike tour", to record their first record, RGB .
