
Ireland's Electric Picnic has revealed the lineup for its 2013 festival, which takes place August 30th - September 1st at Stradbally Estate in Laois. The lineup includes Arctic Monkeys, Björk, My Bloody Valentine, The Knife, Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne & St. Vincent, Franz Ferdinand, Fatboy Slim, Johnny Marr, The Walkmen, Disclosure, Warpaint, Eels, CHVRCHES, Hudson Mohawke, Savages, Poliça, Parquet Courts, Palma Violets, Mount Kimbie, Clinic, Hurts, Merchandise, Noah and the Whale, Deap Vally, The 1975, Peace, and more. Single-day and weekend passes go on sale Saturday, April 27th through the festival's website .

I saw a lot of great shows in 2012, from all the great shows in NYC during CMJ, from my trip to Bonnaroo, and my duel visits to Chicago for Lollapalooza/Pitchfork. I saw many bands both big in small in a wide variety of venues, and made many good memories along the way. Mexico City's annual Capital Corona Music Festival returns in October with a two-day lineup featuring The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Florence and the Machine, New Order, Franz Ferdinand, Miike Snow, Cat Power, Basement Jaxx, Major Lazer, Sleigh Bells, James Murphy, Tegan and Sara, Alabama Shakes, Modeselektor, DJ Shadow, Iron & Wine, The Drums, The Walkmen, The Wallflowers, Neon Indian, Black Lips, araabMUZIK, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and more. It's finally arrived. The line up for Lollapalooza, one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S., has been revealed and it's quite good. The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys and Black Sabbath will headline this year's festival.
