We are Wanderlings, a quintet of psychedelic popsters from Nottingham, England. It is true to say that our influences are not only derived from music. The musical by-product of our dabblings allows us to construct a new collective subconscious and it is this esotericism that we consider to be important. Time to put  Wanderlings on the table. They're a fresh five piece rock act out of Nottingham, England who strut between psych, shoegaze and dream pop. Since forming earlier in the year they've been sweating it out on stage, supporting names like Best Coast, Those Darlins and Egyptian Hip-Hop. From what I've heard so far Wanderlings are fast finding their footing and gaining steam. • Wanderlings - Homebirth

Those of you who regularly read the blog will know about Nottingham based band Wanderlings. Smooth, hazy and melodic are words that I usually fling about when talking about them and 'Over The Fall' has done nothing to change the platitudes. A fantastic and amazingly underrated new talent.

Dear readers, we felt this was necessary for a couple of reasons, mainly due to the fact that on any given week we can post up 20 pieces of 'new' content, and you, well, you're a busy lot, undoubtedly. With that said it's only natural that some really great tracks are going to pass you by undetected. After all, not everyone skims through their Twitter, Facebook or RSS feed like some kind of maniac. Wanderlings | Swingin ’ Wanderlings hail from Nottingham, which happens to be where big-deal Childhood originated from, which also happens to be home of a football club that personal hero of mine Schteeve McLaren once managed for five whole days. New track ‘ Swingin ” is jovial, pensive and guitar-based - so it ticks plenty of boxes.
