Washed Out (Ernest Greene) has been building quite a buzz with the last 3 releases that he released to build anticipation for his upcoming full length Within and Without through Sub Pop on July 12. Washed Out is out of Atlanta, Georgia and does synthpop. His official page says bedroom synthpop. I don't know what distinguishes bedroom synthpop from regular synthpop but I'm down. According to the ever-so accurate Wikipedia, Washed Out is merely the stage name for one man, Ernest Green. I got into a track of his a while back, "New Theory", strictly due to it's laid back, surfer vibe that struck a chord with me. "Amor Fati" has a very similar feel to it, and that's not a bad thing.
