Will.I.Am has unleashed the Bang Bang video for his contribution to the Jay-Z curated soundtrack for that film I ain't seen yet. Innit the he-popper performs with a 1920s brass band on a tiered podium with the entire video being shot in black and white. Don't hate it, saying that I won't play with it again.

A lot of people seem to be annoyed by  Zooey Deschanel 's "adorkable" persona, to the point that they undermine her artistic abilities. I'm guessing her having married (then divorced) twee-king  Ben Gibbard probably doesn't help. Still, she's the star of a hilarious sitcom , has played key roles in several notable movies, and has gotten progressively better at writing and arranging songs for her musical project,  She & Him , where she performs alongside the always great  M. Loving the Jagwar Ma's new single Man I Need, sadly though the accompanying animated visuals treatment are too heavy on the psychedelic cheddar for me afternoon delight.

Properbsessing over The National's latest LP, may be up there with Feathers as one of me fave long_ones of the 013. The American indie-rockers dropped via the Late Show With David Letterman last night, whilst I was at the Postal Service phenomenal gig, to perform Don't Swallow The Cap. So beautiful. So foxy. Despite looking like undergraduate anthropology lecturers.

Post that travesty that was HeadBand, B.o.B. returns with a Lupe Fiasco influenced (aint a bad thang) new single Through My Head. He really needs to go on tour, or perhaps he is, but if so he needs to pop across that pond this summer.

VICE signee  ACTION BRONSON  has just released the clip to his track 'Strictly 4 My Jeeps', that is to feature on his upcoming record  Saab Stories , produced by Harry Fraud . With almost a year since it earned a place in your heart, Swedish popping duo Icona Pop performed their soon to be irritating smash-single I Love It at the Billboard Awards last night. Tbf once this mp3 disappears I can't see them remaining huge though, and I don't see that as a bad thing.

Alexis Normand gave it her all at the outset of last weekend's 2013 Memorial Cup junior hockey championship, but ... well, even the crowd couldn't help her with this one. It's pretty botched. Enrico Palazzo even has her beat.
