It's been a long time since the beginning of this blog, which is now well into it's third year. I just realized not too long ago that the 500th post was coming up fast, and wouldn't you know it, here it is. In a celebratory fashion I thought I would write about ten of the albums that I've listened to over the years that have changed the way I listen to music. I have three criteria for this list: These albums must be albums that came out during my lifetime (that means no collections or retrospectives), the albums must [...]

Designer Drugs - Enjoy the Silence (Depeche Mode Cover) Transformer - Cinema Car [Tenth Dan + Riskotheque Rmx] [...]

December has to have the highest concentration of holidays in the fewest number of days. I mean... Hanuka, Christmas, Kwanza, New Year's Eve, Boxing Day, and of course my birthday, which happens to coincide with New Year's eve. That's a lot of holidays! So I'm posting this ahead of time since I will probably be consumed with festivities on December 31st as I'm sure many of you will as well. So here is my birthday/new year's gift to you, a mix of some of the best remixes I've heard this year. Bon nouvelle année et joyeux anniversaire à moi! [...]

Welcome to the second installment of the AZLTRON Blog's top 30 Albums of the year! Here are some albums for your listening/reading pleasure! Here is the link to Part 1 . 20. Natalie Portman's Shaved Head - Glistening Pleasure This creatively named band feels like a joke band started between a few friends that somehow along the way they shocked each other with how good they became and decided to take the show on the road. This is it! The last Wesley the Robot Cartoon of the year! I decided to take a hiatus from the squid battle and do something more festive and cute. In the meantime, enjoy this cold, snowy, winter-y mix. AZLTRON - Snowday (By Me!) Snowfight in the City Centre - No Light Left Graig [...]

If a giant octopus is attacking a power plant , that's probably not good. That's also probably the reason the power went out when Wesley was charging. I think maybe Beatrice owes Wesley an apology. Does It Offend You Yeah? - Attack Of The 60 Ft Lesbian Octopus The Octopus project - Truck Laromlab - Sid Attacks Mr. Oizo - Feadz On New Order - Dream Attack [...]

Okay, this is starting to frustrate me . I previously wrote a little blurb about still standing and typing despite a huge work load and now that post has disappeared. If you're reading this blogspot won't you please contact me and tell me what's flagging my posts for deletion? I put a lot of time and effort along with original content like my Wesley the Robot strips in my posts. Either way, Beatrice is angry about there being no power... is Wesley to blame? Or something far more sinister....?! Here's some music! [...]

Another week has passed, (well nearly), and so far I'm still alive . You ever think that deadlines and due dates are like a really complicated obstacle course? Like; "Run a 6 minute mile, climb this wall, get me a 6 page paper on successes of reconstruction era America, crawl through this tunnel and make me a new website by 11:11pm tonight!" Well, that's how it feels to me a lot of the time. Or perhaps an even better example would be going 12 rounds in a boxing match with a tag team of [...]
"Under This" is an instrumental electronic band out of Latvia. On thier debut EP "Black and White" they combine big beats, breaks, and 80's synth pop melodies together to create compelling and cinematic dance songs. Their song "Tonight" has crisp drumming and menacing basslines that accent perfectly the eerie synths played and thus creates a dance groove worthy of ghosts and goblins. Their song "Black and White", also the namesake of their debut EP, feels like an epic dance mix to a regime change in a totalitarian government. Full of spirit and hope. Their song "Revolution" feels [...]
This is a bit strange . I posted this Wesley cartoon a while back along with a mix and now it doesn't exist anymore. I know there wasn't any objectionable content and no one notified me regarding taking a track down... Hm, well anyway here's a few more tracks that go along with the repost of the cartoon. It seems that Wesley is encountering some electrical problems... I wonder what the cause could be? Autolux - Robots in the Garden My Robot Friend - Robot High School [...]
Okay, so maybe I didn't get to a new Wesley Strip every Saturday like I said I would, but I'm going to try valiantly to get him up weekly as I battle deadlines, a social life, and the multitudes of creative endeavors I carry on my back in the form of a 60 lb backpack. I'm sure you can relate, but that's no excuse! So, Here's a new Wesley Cartoon a smattering of the musical palette I've been painting my days with. Kind Regards, AZLTRON The Libertines [...]
Okay, so here's what I'm going to do from now on: I am going to post a new Wesley Cartoon every Saturday along with a mix. Also, the Wesley drawing competition for a copy of the Bones TV soundtrack is still open, so if you want a copy of the Bones TV soundtrack send a picture of Wesley to me that you drew, compiled, painted, etc to me azltron @yahoo.com. Moving along, Beatrice still tries to relate to Wesley in terms of her current school work load. Maybe he could tutor her? I was feeling particularly mellow this [...]
The time has come for the return of everyone's favorite blog based automaton. That's right, Wesley is back and he is encouraging the lot of you to do your homework early so you won't be stressed out. Which is a good idea, but often easier said than done. Perhaps it's easier for him to say so because his computer chip brain allows him to be the ultimate multi-tasker. Anyway, here are some tracks I've been enjoying lately. Walter Meego - Forever Shy Child - The Volume [...]
