The International Music Summit most well known for their annual boutique industry conference on the island of Ibiza has set their sites on the US market as well. Hidden away in the northern corner of South Beach is the W Hotel, where Sol Republic, Motorola, Trident, and SiriusXM teamed for an intimate day of drinking, music, and fun during Miami Music Week. Hosted in the afternoons of Wednesday to Friday, the Moto Music Lounge played host to the who's who of dance music. During the opening of the W Singapore Mark Ronson brought out New York Band, AVAN LAVA to join in on the celebration. The Brooklyn group took one of my favorite tracks on 2010 Mark Ronson, Boy George and Andrew Wyatt 's "Somebody To Love Me" and turned it into a electro pop/soul filled dance number. I would have done a back flip to this track if I was out in Singapore.

Rukes is a name that has become synonymous with epic DJ photos, and he is finally bringing his photos outside your computer screen and to a real world show. Rukes is teaming up with the W Hotel in Times Square, which will host an interactive exhibit with his photos for the entire month of September, or from August 30th to September 30th to be exact.
