Earlier this month, Rolling Stone Magazine asked their readers to vote on their least favorite songs of the 1980s . Voters picked classics like "Puttin' On The Ritz", "Mickey" and "Rock Me Amadeus" and many people on the Internet violently disagreed with the choices. Now the magazine has posted the results of the 10 worst songs of the 1970's HERE . See if you agree? What songs are missing?

Photo by G. Men Without Hats (aka #5) It's no secret that Rolling Stone magazine hasn't been a good source of music news in decades. They continue their irrelevance by naming their worst songs of the 1980s. Here's their top 10: 1 - Starship - 'We Built This City' 2 - Europe - 'The Final Countdown' 3 - Chris de Burgh - 'Lady In Red' 4 - Wham! - 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)' 5 - Men Without [...]
Rolling Stone recently polled its readers and compiled a list of the worst songs of the 1990s. It's about as predictable as a Saved by the Bell episode: 10. "What's Up?" 4 Non-Blondes 9. "I'm ... Continue reading "The Real Top Ten Worst Songs of the 1990s" >

Osama Bin Laden is dead, and suddenly countless well meaning, appallingly jingoistic songs made in the wake of 9/11 have taken on a whole new context. We'd call it vindication except we actually ... Continue reading "Osama Bin Laden: The Ten Worst Songs He Inspired" >
My least favorite song. How to pick?? I could go with the recent internet sensation "Friday," but that's too easy and too much fun to parody. I could go with an annoying autotuned 3 minutes of crap by T-Pain. But no, not enough hate. The song that fills me with hatred and fury is Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue." You know the one where he talks about lighting up country's sky like the 4th of July? The song of "my patriotism is better than yours because I'm talking about killing people in retaliation." If I ever [...]
If there's going to be an award for Worst New Artist(e)/Song of 2011, Rebecca Black and "Friday" are deserving!
Trey Songz - LOL Smileyface (Remix) feat. Gucci Mane & Soulja Boy The weather is getting colder, shopping malls are getting crowded, and families are coming together...that's right, it's recap month! Everyone with an opinion is preparing best-of and worst-of lists left, right, and centre, and so it's only natural that B&B gets into the spirit of [...]

If you'll remember last Saturday's post here, some online magazine published their list of the worst songs of all time. It was a dumb list, a tedious list, and a pedantic list. Anyone could call "Who Let The Dogs Out?" the worst song of all time and feel accomplished. But that's the journalistic equivalent of calling a beach sunset beautiful, or putting Gail SImmons of Food & Wine Magazine on a list of best tits. It's also not a good method for captivating an audience. If you're going to claim songs are the worst of all time, you've [...]
