Heres another track from the duo formerly known as 'Poney Poney'. Now as Jamaica the French electro pop wizards came out with ''I Think I Like You 2'' earlier in the year and will release their debut album ' No Problem ' on August 23rd. With production credits going to Justice's Xavier de Rosnay and Daft Punk sound Engineer Peter Franco its looking like a bright last quater of 2010 for these boys. Jamaica - By The Numbers by 1FTP

NEUS or New Experiemental for Universal Sound are ones to keep a eye out for - hailing Corsica, France. Gael Guidicelli's sound of Robotic disco is winning fans all over at the moment. To give him a chance he has remixed man of the moment - Breakbot with a remix of Iron Zombie and it's a amazing - intense glitchy disco and electro, bags of distrortion and trippy synths. Check out his Orchestra of Insomnia as well to say it's banging would be a injustice. Danger written all over it. Breakbot - Iron Zombie [...]

Jamaica used to be Pony Pony Run Run (we know, both name are terrible), but all is not lost - Jamaica just so happen to be produced by Xavier De Rosnay from Justice fame. And if that wasn't cool enough Ed Banger's Breakbot has remixed their latest tune. Enough said. Well actually no there's an electro stomper from the buffalo bunch, expect to hear this being player by 2 many DJ's a lot. JAMAICA - I Think I Like U 2 VIDEO from bermudapants on Vimeo . [...]

i'll tell you what's next, i think u like me 2 ♫ Jamaica -I Think I Like U 2 Hailing from France and calling themselves Jamaica, these guys are the best of both worlds: Funky danceability and sunny optimism. Throw in the fact that their debut LP is being produced by one half of Justice and Daft Punk's sound engineer (or something) and they've got Ed Banger records' in house design whiz on their video (below) these guys are the full package. Did [...]
Maybe the best video of the year happens to appear to not be all that big of a deal, as this new clip for the first track from the new project from Poney Poney's Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet, dubbed...
JAMAICA - I Think I Like U 2 VIDEO from bermudapants on Vimeo . You might recall JAMAICA from their remix of Flairs' "Radio" we posted earlier this month. Well the duo has just announced their, yet to be titled, debut album which will be produced by Xavier de Rosnay and Daft Punk sound Engineer Peter Franco. Check out a preview below: JAMAICA - "I Think I Like U 23 ( download )

Jamaica - I [...]

Kavinksy is about to drop his follow-up EP to the cult classic "19863 not only is it great song - it has been produced by one half of Daft Punk, Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo. On top of that the song was mixed down by Sebastian, and there are remixes from Breakbot and Dustin N Guyen (which is apparently Xavier de Rosnay from Justice.) Kavinksy has certainly managed to court every talented Frenchman in Paris to help. You can pre-order the whole limited edition picture disc here . 1. [...]

With over 20 years of DJ experience under his belt, Alex English has become a fixture in the electro scene in New York City. Apart from his residencies at Thom Bar on Thursdays, Webster Hall on [...]
Ka POW : Busy P/ Daft Punk Party L.A: The Fight Video!!! from onelove on Vimeo .
Clip "1973" - Tahiti Boy & the Palmtree family by ThirdSideRecords Para One sort of slipped off the radar the past year in terms of producing and remixing, and being a big fan it was frustrating for me. The good news is he has a new remix for Parisian indie-pop group, Tahiti Boy & The Palmtree Family , whose "1973" EP is out now! The EP not only comes fully equipped with the [...]

So I flew up to NYC for v-day with my girl friend. We got in late Friday night. I knew Xavier and Busy P were going to be playing at Webster Hall with Alex English, and my boy Reckless. So we got there. No tickets. Line, avenue to avenue. My friend Bryanna gets us in, don't have to pay anything and vip. So all night I'm kicking it back stage and on stage with Frankie Chan, Busy P, Alex English, and Xavier De Rosnay. Busy P had just started playing when we walked in and dropped a loop on Vampire [...]

Ushering in the Valentine's Day lovefest this year at Webster Hall was an Ed Banger gangbang DJ line-up of Busy P and Xavier De Rosnay (one half of Justice). The whole of Girls & Boys was really rad on Friday night and the stage was more packed than we'd seen prior, making the shaking of monitors all the more dangerous with the trembling of the stage brought about by the jumping masses. The crowd itself was sardine-like in composition and, judging by the photographs you're about to see, sweat was certainly not in a [...]

Click here to enlarge So how do you plan on spending your Friday the 13th? Are you going to see the 500th Jason movie that just came out, that will most likely leave you begging for your money and 2 hours back; or are you going feverishly pump away to late night re-runs of V.I.P. in your parent's attic? Well, while neither of those sound that bad, if you're in the NYC area there is a far superior alternative. Xavier [...]

So this entry is a must-post in response to all the hipster popularity of the french electronic music duo Justice and our pure confusion about their style of music when first hearing it. There's really not much to say except for the fact that the original Justice , from Luton in the UK, is better and the more recent Justice totally ripped off the name of the original. Why do we think this? Well, the proof is staring at us like dead in the face. The French duo has only been active since 2003, whereas [...]
