O vídeo foi produzido pelo The Creators Project e dirigido pelo projeto Young Replicant (que já trabalhou também com o M83 e mais recentemente com Fineshrine ), e mostra os integrantes mergulhando em slow motion, criando belas imagens complementadas por cores refletidas na água e nas nuvens. The xx's Coexist was a fine sophomore effort, expanding on their delicate, distant sound brought about by their stunning debut. To help continue promotional efforts, the band has teamed up with the Creator's Project to drop official visuals for recent album cut, " Chained ". Young Replicant does a fine job of capturing the lonely tones of this single, employing dark aquatic themes that run throughout.
