Back in Semptember, the xx premiered Four Tet ’s remix of their song Angels on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 show. At that time Jamie xx announced that he might return the favour by remixing one of Four Tet’s tracks, and he did so and released the remix today. Hace poco publicamos un remix de “Angels” -canción original de The xx , perteneciente al disco Coexist - a cargo de Four Tet . Pues hoy los papeles se invierten y el mismo Jamie xx se dio a la tarea de reinventar un track de Four Tet. Se trata de “Lion” , tema incluido en el álbum Pink , lanzado a través de Text Records el pasado 20 de agosto. El resultado es el siguiente, disfruten.

Earlier this year, the great British electronic producer Four Tet released Pink , an excellent and somewhat underrated collection of dance singles. In the past, Four Tet has remixed the xx's " VCR " and " Angels ," and now the xx's production mastermind Jamie xx returns the favor, reworking the Pink track " Lion ." Después del remix de Four Tet a " Angels " de The xx, Jamie xx le devuelve el favor haciendo un finísimo remix de "Lion" el último sencillo de Pink, la nueva producción de Four Tet . Enfin un vrai clip de The xx en rapport à leur second album, « Coexist ». Une très belle vidéo réalisée par Young Replicant pour le titre « Chained » qui met en avant les membres du groupe en pleine leçon de natation qui cache en fait une intense passion comme on s'en doutait.

Mellow, minimalist, shy, ghosty...are The XX. The UK trio have got a few types of songs - pretty much - that span across two albums, but the lack of stretch is fine, really, when you're playing lush creepers. Somehow, the songs connect.
