The first in an eight-part redefining of Bjork’s unbelievably good latest record,...

Our Fresh Faced picked Arthur Beatrice has been on a silent vibe over the past few months, a few live videos/shows have been the only thing to surface. However, the collective have finally released official material. 'Midland' is an utterly gorgeous piece led by the soon to be adored (by many) vocals of Orlando Sheppard. The single will be available on April 12th and we can't wait to hear more as the months continue. Stream the cut below.

High Highs release intimate visuals directed by Video Marsh for their brilliant cut 'Flowers Bloom' from the duo's self titled Ep. Dreamy pop to start your day off.
Click image to download track Sounds like: The xx, Jamie Woon "Jamie xx - Space Bass" What's so good? If you are like me, you straight BORED of every song from The xx’s 2009 album being remixed by anyone and everyone. Granted, the album IS great and all, but it’s to the point that it’s so over-played I almost cringe when upon hearing it. I [...]
Click image to download track Sounds like: The Sea And Cake, Deerhunter, The xx "Heavenly Beat - Suday" What's so good? Ahh, I welcome the weekend with a new track from Heavenly Beat, John Pena of Beach Fossil's side project. And it really is heavenly. This is a perfect song to listen to while winding down from a long week of work or school or [...]
Click image to download more songs by this artist Sounds like: Burial, Darkstar, Koreless, Jacques Greene "Jamie xx - Far Nearer (RTS Remix)" What's so good? This is the second remix of Jamie xx's "Far Nearer" I've posted. RTS takes the track in completely opposite directions. The first one I posted, in case you're wondering, was this one by Ollie Macfarlane. [...]

" I can't erase it from my mind I just replay it and think of it all the time " Surfacing act Elena Torna and her Daughter moniker is set to release a new Ep titled 'The Wild Youth' on November 21st, and the beautiful dark heartfelt ballad 'Love,' from the upcoming effort is below. Click image to watch a video for this track Sounds like: James Blake, Bon Iver, The xx "James Blake & Bon Iver - Fall Creek Boys Choir" What's so good? James Blake & Bon Iver have just put out a new track together. "Wait, what? Did I just read that right?" Yes, yes you did. While this may not be as epic as the recent Kanye/Jay-Z collab in the opinion of some (it is) you can bet its making [...]

Click image to download more songs by this artist Sounds like: Gladkill, Mimosa, Jupit3r "The xx - Shelter (Birdy Cover)(Photek Dubstep Remix)" What's so good? There's quite a few remixes out there for The xx. Their album is old enough now that I think it's about time to stop throwing around dubstep interpretations of original tunes. I promise you though, this one is a bit [...]

Click image for more artist information Sounds like: Jamie xx, Crystal Castles "The xx - Untitled New Track" What's so good? This track just emerged on my Tumblr dashboard labelled as a new track by The xx. After playing it, I think it probably is more than an elaborate hoax. Although we have no idea where this came from, or what exactly it [...]

The single version of Jaime xx's "Far Nearer" is finally making the blogosphere rounds . The world first heard Far Nearer almost a year ago and at the time I wasn't a huge fan. What I remember being a rambling steel drum exploration does start out that way, but a minute or so in explodes into easily one of the most anthemic dance tracks of the year. The song revolves around the vocal line "I feel better when I have you near me" that serves as a reminder that Jaime xx is just better than everyone else at [...]

Click image to download full album Sounds like: Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jack Steadman, The xx "Pushing Hands - He's Still Here" What's so good? Pushing Hands are a London four piece, cut from the same indie cloth as the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club and The Maccabees. They also sway off into the same pop-folk territory, just like the aforementioned bands. However, the influences of London's other indie elite is here - shades of The xx can definitely [...]
Brooklyn dark duo Creep first got our attention with the Romy Croft led track "Days," now they've gone all R&B on us with attaching Nina Sky to "Creep." Never seen that collab coming and yes it works quite well......enjoy the slow goth jam above.

Click image to download full album Sounds like: Adele, Childish Gambino, The xx "Adele Feat. Childish Gambino - Rolling in the Deep (Jamie xx Remix)" What's so good? First: Mike Posner . Then: Edwin van Cleef . Now: Jamie xx. I know this song has been remixed and covered to death, but I can't help but feeling that every version of [...]

Very cool montage of clips shot during Syracuse University's Mayfest, one of the biggest parties of the year. Kegs, beer pong, music, and tons of people, the ingredients to a great time. I sure wish I was there. Who else thinks this video is way better than the actual video for The XX's "Crystalised"? I sure do. Purchase: The XX - Crystalised
Production duo CREEP (Lauren Dillard and Lauren Flax) are noted jokesters when it comes to genre classifying (never forget "rapegaze" you guys--never) but more importantly they're noted purveyors of some of the most amazing, sparse and completely moving music of 2011. This song, their first "real" original composition, is a collaboration with The xx's Romy [...]
During the three-part video series that the VICE/Intel guys at The Creator's Project did with Warren Fischer of Fischerspooner fame, the artist, musician and creative director talked up his pal Lauren Flax's new act CREEP and how he came to help the girls with their video for "Days", the new single out from the darkwave [...]
At the ripe age of 25, Australian producer/laptop geek Andy Murphy, part of the Citylife collective that's behind the compilations called Onelove, seems to have already developed quite a repertoire of influences, factors and sounds in his arsenal. Today, Murphy released a remix of fellow twenty-somethings The xx, not strangers to early development themselves, and [...]
