Finally, the xx are taking the plunge into their forthcoming album Coexist with first single, "Angels". While it doesn't stray too far from their stunning 2009 debut, it is yet another beautiful sign of growth for this London trio. What sticks out the most on "Angels" is the lush percussion work, which is sure to have come from Jamie xx's ever-expanding palette of sounds. Coexist is due out Sept. 11 via Young Turks.
