The xx enlists the Creators Project to help out with this video for "Chained." When your band has such a distinct aesthetic, setting the right tone with a video isn't always an easy thing to do. They nailed it with this one, combining two things that fit perfectly with The xx's new material: 1. Underwater shots 2. As we saw with Muse earlier, on Friday's broadcast of Later... with Jools Holland we go to enjoy an extra performance. We saw The xx roll through a great rendition of " Angels " early last week and in the full show they also played "Sunset" and "Chained" for the studio audience and those watching at home. You can watch the latter after the jump with "Sunset" being enjoyable at the top. Their new album Coexist is out now and it's still getting heavy play from me.

Last night The xx went back home to the UK to make an appearance as the musical guest on Later… With Jools Holland . Tune in on Friday to see the full performance from the XX, Muse and the Beach Boys. Now that Jools Holland is back for a 10 week run expect to see more of his show on the site. With the return of Later... with Jools Holland came another extra special treat in the form of a wonderful performance from The xx . They ran through a stunning rendition of the hair raising "Angels" on the show with the three of them looking like they had a good time. Beautiful stuff and be sure to check back later in the week as the full show will air on Friday evening with more performances from The xx and Muse. The track feature son their recently released album Coexist .
