Electropoppers YACHT just released Shangri-La , their fifth studio album, Tuesday on iTunes (it's available everywhere next week, all thanks to DFA). Weather it's exploring an outdoor geo-sphere, to exercising in space, it's definitely an interesting way to spend 7 minutes. Watch the video below. YACHT have premiered a double-video for the first two tracks off their latest album, 'Shangri-La'. The music video is for tracks "Utopia" and "Dystopia (Earth is on Fire)" and can be watched below. The band enlisted the help of director Rene Daalder for the videos. Watch below.

Earlier this week, we brought the full album stream of YACHT 's forthcoming Shangri-La to your attention. Now, the pop duo have released a music video for their singles "Utopia," and "Dystopia (The Earth Is On Fire)," which features YACHT jamming "Utopia" while travelling through an odd world that somewhat reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where Homer turns 3D . Suddenly, the world is destroyed, and "Dystopia" kicks in with its wonderfully catchy synth ..

So much YACHT news, so little time. With Shangri-La out yesterday, the electro-popsters have posted this sparkling, Devo-ish double video for “Utopia” and ”Dystopia (The Earth Is On Fire).” It's pretty interesting visual statement, especially if you like it when bands are pelted by asteroid storms. I sure do. In addition to that two-in-one video, the band recently filmed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR .
