Os dejo con el nuevo videoclip de Yeasayer , “Longevity”, un video algo más convencional que su anterior versión, perteneciente a la serie de visuales con los que se presento su nuevo disco "Fragant World", y que nos permitían escuchar al completo este álbum.

    Después de todos los visuales del Fragrant World que nos enseñaron hace unas semanas, Yeasayer nos presenta el video oficial de su nuevo sencillo "Longevity" en el que podemos verlos envejecer un poco. Enjoy.    

Yeasayer have taken the title of " Longevity " to heart in the new video for the Fragrant World single, which sees frontman Chris Keating aging slowly over the course of the band's in-studio performance. As the video progresses, Keating's hair becomes gray, his skins wrinkles, and eventually he's just a decrepit skull on top of a body. Watch the replay above.

Whose bright idea was it to film Yeasayer’s new video for "Longevity" inside a church?  The house of God is no place for the demonic vocals and brain shaking beat of this awesome track.  Have we learned nothing from our friends Pussy Riot? Yeasayer's newest effort Fragrant World is out now via Secretly Canadian and now the first single 'Longevity' has its very own video. The video shows frontman Chris Keating aging as the band perform the song in the studio.

"Oh, okay," you'll think as you watch the beginning of this Yeasayer video and wonder why they decided to go with such a straightforward approach. Fragrant World is basically Odd Blood but even weirder and more psychy than you could imagine, even coming from a band like Yeasayer . Yeasayer have made a video for Longevity in which the band spend playing the song in their studio for, eh, quite a while.

Yeasayer 's new album, Fragrant World , is out today. To celebrate, we got on the phone with Anand and found out what he thought about drugs, Jay-Z, hipsters, and shit of this sort during a friendly game of Word Association . Less importantly but also worth noting, the guys stopped by Fallon's show last night to do what they do best and mix the trippy with the catchy for a solid performance of "Longevity."

Like Neon Indian before them, Yeasayer arrived at Jimmy Fallon's 30 Rockefeller studio with a relatively elaborate stage rig designed in conjunction with the Creators Project . It involves a number of fragmented mirrors, with lights and projections that sync to Chris Keating's MPC unit, and yet that isn't even the best addition to Yeasayer's live thing; that would be drummer Cale Parks, formerly of Aloha / BRAHMS / himself , who replaces the erstwhile, formidable percussion section of Ahmed Gallab and JayTram (both now of Sinkane ) with his own brand of polyrhythmic electro-pop [...]
