Moving away from the (non-existant) country trend we just had going, here comes some indie rock! If there's one thing I certainly haven't heard enough of, it's shoegazing. While this song isn't shoegazing at all, it does carry some of the same etheral qualities that define the genre, making it a-ok in my book. This track brings to mind sun-drenched road trips, the buzzing guitars creating a nicely lucid aura. Or, you know, the video for the song (somewhat NSFW). The throwback-to-the-90s indie rock band Yuck released a new song today called Chew . I gave it a few listens and it fits in very much with the band's body of work thus far. The song is worth a listen or two. Yuck does justice to the 90s rock music scene better than any band out there currently. Check out the song below:

I posted on Yuck several months ago , but I think they deserve another post for their superb self-titled debut album. This song, The Wall , is probably their most well-known song to date now. It's actually received some radio play shockingly/sadly (the radio is the devil). I wanted to feature this song because it's really good and also because the video is pretty cool.
