Here's a crunchy little number from Yuck called Chew , a song the band said it would play at Coachella today. Check it out here:

One of my favorite albums of 2011 was Yuck's Self Titles Debut. The UK based band looked around and figured they were better off in the 902s, producing one of the many nostalgic laced albums of this decade. If you have not heard Suck or Stutter yet, well what are you waiting for? Yuck is back for more with the same terrible cover art. "Chew" picks up where they left off, and a release date for a full release is set to come. Listen / rejoice to "Chew" below.
Filed under: News , New Music , New Releases Yuck British '90s rock revivalists Yuck have released their latest track " Chew " for consumption. As expected with any Yuck track, it's automatically catchy and has the psychedelic heaviness of earlier Pumpkins work combined with much more melodic guitar. Stream it below.

The upcoming weeks leading up to the new year are starting to thin out a little, but expect a whole bunch of busy weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. This week, expect new albums from Bjork , Ryan Adams , and Metric . On a personal note, we're most excited about Neptune 's Silent Partner (pictured)--The Boston band create unique, noisy music from self-constructed instruments. Of course for those who want to be indie without being quite so adventurous, RJD2 's side project Icebird puts out an album this week, [...]
London's Yuck is back this weekend! Yuck recently sold out shows at the Echo and at the Satellite (where we interviewed them) last tour, and now return to play a SOLD OUT Troubadour on Saturday, July 30 and The Satellite...
Yuck will release a 7-inch single for Shook Down June 27. The record's flip side will feature a previously unreleased song called Milkshake . You can listen to Milkshake here . I've given the song a couple of listens and can recommend it. I missed these guys when they opened for Tame Impala last week but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the band at Pitchfork .
Yuck , a new favorite band here, released a video for the song Get Away . You can see it by clicking here . Unlike some of the band's other videos , it's (mostly) safe to watch at work. Get Away - Yuck Here's a live performance of the song:
London's Yuck have a new music video for their single, "Get Away", off of their self-titled album out now. You can see Yuck live when they come to Los Angeles to play at the Echo on Wednesday, April 13 and...

Just catching up with The Drake . Stay tuned for another edition later this week. -ed. February may be the shortest and weather-challenged month of the year, but 20112s version has already been both long on and warm to quality releases. I'm not even sure what that means, but it somehow still feels apt in introducing the latest offerings from PJ Harvey , Telekinesis , Drive-By Truckers , Twilight Singers , Bright Eyes , Lifeguards , A Hawk and a Hacksaw , Asobi Seksu , Sonic [...]

There are a slew of new releases today. My top pick is the debut album by Yuck . When I think of '80s music, I think of a lot of different styles. Yuck's guitars remind of late '80s Dinosaur Jr. and maybe a little bit of My Bloody Valentine . Give a listen to the song, Holing Out , posted below. It's not groundbreaking but it's very good stuff. I highly recommend the album. Fans of the Vivan Girls can indulge in two spinoff bands. La Sera [...]

Sometimes I straight up miss Dawson's Creek . I miss the looseness of the 902s and how we allowed that looseness to fly. And actually thought it was fly. And used adjectives like "fly" to describe something. Regardless - it's missed. Apparently 2010 could be the revival of the 902s, and seeing as I LIVED through the 902s , that's exciting. If we're going to revive the decade, we're going to need a band representing the times we're rehashing. Yuck fit that ticket. They've created [...]
