The VPME Ok so we were invited by BBC6music to pick three artists who had impressed us the most so far this year. Of course this was extremely tricky and so to narrow it down in our own minds, we decided to go down the route of brand spanking new artists, or at least ones who were new to us this year. We also felt this represented the ethos of the shows presenter Tom Robinson who is renowned for his championing of new bands through his BBC Introducing show and Fresh On The Net. [...]

Basement Fever and HorrorShow Tunes are teaming up again under the Zeitgeist banner to present our fourth show. We're very excited to be bringing Torches , PINS , and buddies Playlounge to Kingston 's The Cricketers on March 13 - for £3. One of London's hottest up-and-coming bands, Torches will be healdining for us on the back of their split release with the excellent Crushed Beaks. Good remixes are hard to find in the noise - good remixers, even harder. The RAC (Remix Artist Collective) are one of the few consistent ones. To give you an idea of their level of expertise, The Hype Machine recruited them to make one of their coveted Zeitgeit mixes last year. Working again with Nathan Horrorshow Tunes under our Zeitgeist banner, we'd like to present you our third show - and our first of 2012. We wouldn't call our last two shows tame. We enjoyed them alot.
