wordpress & stat counting

    is anyone using wordpress also using google analytics? I'm trying to sign up for it, but I have no idea where to put the code, because everything is a .php file and not written in html, but the code they give you is an html code. anyone know what I gotta do?

    It goes in the template footer.  In the administration section,

    Presentation->Theme Editor.  The current theme should already be

    selected.  Click on Footer to the right of the textbox.  Insert the GA

    code just above the closing body tag (</body>).  Click Update File.

    hrm.  it's not detecting the code even though I put it there... something is fishy!

    It can take 24 hours for analytics to pick it up and start counting impressions.



    To find where to place it in your html, just find the footer html file for the template your site is using and add the javascript tag just before the closing body tag.
