I'm going to be a little nepotistic and plug Ringo Deathstarr, from Austin, Texas. They should please shoegaze fans immensely. Ringo @ Myspace (streaming), and Ringo @ SVC Records (downloads). I believe they're recording this month.

Radical Face.

Ola Podrida, Lucky Soul, Patrick Watson and Kathy Diamond are all real solid. Sophomore efforts by Lewis & Clarke and New Buffalo are also pretty stellar.

I have fallen in love with Jawbone. His cd actually came out in 2006 but I did not get it until this month.



The Wells cd Outcasts Will Make a Strong Nation has been in heavy rotation as well.

I didn't know that New Buffalo had a new one... I liked their last one.

Black Milk is a great up and coming producer from Detroit. His 2007 debut "Popular Demand" is one of the best hip hop albums this year. If you haven't check him out. Hes done production for Slum Village and his style is kinda like Madlib and Kanye with the heavy soul sampling.
