Calling all John Vanderslice fans. JV and an Aquarium Drunkard would like to cordially invite you out to the LA river basin for a guerrilla-styled free concert. Think: that old U2 video, filmed on the rooftop in downtown LA, where the cops bust it up — only smaller, and cooler.
Here is scoop: We will all meet up Thursday evening at 7pm in front of the Los Feliz Cafe (3270 Los Feliz Blvd.) There is a gate a few yards away from the cafe that allows public access to the river basin. We walk down - JV plays. It’s fun, intimate and outside.

Ahhhh unfortunately I'm busy that night, but please keep me/us/LA people informed of things like these. I'd love to come out for another one.

Wow--I'd like to try to get to that, but it will take some finagling since I am about 120 miles from there. Hmmmm.
