site meter going crazy?

i hope i'm not the only one, but i check my site meter stats like an obsessive compulsive and i've noticed that my hits from "last hour" are at 0, yet when i go into the chart that shows hits by the day (actually by the hour), it says that it's on hour nine.
is anyone else having site meter problems? i really really don't want to get rid of it (i just hit 50,000 hits today!) -

okay, today (the seventh), i go to check my site meter and it's down again. but not down as in unavailible, i can access it, but it won't collect any data for me anymore.
i'm thinking of getting a new counter. any suggestions? -
have you tried emailing or leaving a comment for the dude who runs it?

no. i just switched counters. :)
besides, i hate how site meter bases their counter on "visits" because so many people can look at your page, but you have to be on a certain length of time to call it a visit. -

the only bitch i have with statcounter is that it doesn't have hourly stats, but i can deal. i'm actually liking statcounter a lot better!
