Kinda makes me uneasy too, and I actually indulge in a spot of light spamming from time to time when we release our own stuff. But there is a category called band promotion, and so I guess it's only fair we expect bands to use it. Still feels very spammy when it actually happens though.

tim- by no means does that make you sound old.. its just not your style.. and that is cool. No i didnt know that I posted it in the wrong place.. sorry about that guys. I will try harder to get my stuff in the right places... I dont do much on this types of forums, so it can be confusing.
